Who wants beautiful, energized and “cool” legs?

It’s officially spring, and its time to put it in your step too (literally!) The season of renewal, rebirth and regeneration, celebrated by longer days, more outdoors time and warmer temps after the couped up feeling winter gave us. Speaking of outdoors, are you one to enjoy outdoor exercise, biking, walking, golf or tennis (to name a few..)? Today, we’re featuring our Cinq Mondes expert, Chantal Tourtin, and her favorite spa-at-home routine for the season.

Step 1: Dry brush with the Kassa Glove

Dry brushing is the ultimate wellness routine at-home to detox the body by stimulating circulation and lymphatic drainage. As we want our legs to be energized before activity and feeling their best, this is a great first step to get the blood flowing. It also unclogs the pores by exfoliating the skin, so you’ll have super-soft skin afterwards. Always begin dry brushing (if legs are the focus) from the feet upwards, towards the heart, using small circular, firm strokes.

The Kassa Glove is a great choice for ease of use – it fits on the hand as a glove and is made of a very fine textured, plant-derived cellulose fabric. (bonus! It’s the sister to the Black Beldi Soap exfoliation routine)

Step 2: Wash the body with a Phyto-Aromatic Shower/Bath Oil (your aroma of choice, there are 5 to pick from)

Step 3: Apply the Energizing Leg-Lifting Cream

The star and special gem of this routine- this herbal leg cream combines soothing Arnica, nourishing Bamboo and Aloe Vera, plus a cooling and stimulating Camphor and Menthol, all traditionally used in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Your legs will be instantly re-energized and refreshed.

Extra note: always wash your hands immediately after applying the Energizing Leg-Lifting Cream because it contains camphor and menthol (ie: you wouldn’t want to touch your face until your hands are washed)

Step 4: Soak up the sunlight and enjoy your outdoor activity

With SPF of course. Your legs will ready to take on the day’s fun!
