Find the best mask for your skin needs

There’s nothing quite like when you take that mid-week break and relax while you mask. That extra time you to focus on you, your skincare routine and a peaceful moment of self-care is so precious. Purifying, hydrating, plumping…there’s a mask for you- but not all masks are equal. They are designed with specific ingredients to treat skin in different ways and enhance your skincare goals. And, you may even need to use more then one mask at a time: multi-masking! Let’s dive in…

Why mask? For your best skin!

Face masks are an important vehicle to drive your skincare goals – they target specific concerns such as dryness, blemish flare-ups, dullness, or signs of aging. Used at least weekly, masks blanket the skin, providing a high concentration of ingredients for an immediate effect. Masks are especially more productive if done directly after exfoliating, as the active ingredients will penetrate on a clean, exfoliated skin much better.

How often should you mask?

Once or twice weekly at the minimum, applied after cleansing skin. (pssst- most Parisian women mask "ever day!")

Steps:

  1. Cleanse
  2. Exfoliate (1x per week)
  3. Apply mask
  4. Remove mask
  5. Apply serum
  6. Apply moisturizer

Which mask should you choose?

What is multi-masking and how do I do it?

Using more then one mask to target specific areas on the face that may be experiencing different skin “symptoms” at one time. For example: Do you have an oily T-zone (forehead, nose, chin) but suffer from dryness on the cheeks? In this case, you can apply the Kaolin & Flowers Clay Mask to the T-Zone to target oil and purify skin, while using the 7 Chinese Plant Intense Hydration cream mask on the cheeks.
