Our Cinq Mondes expert and French trained esthetician, Chantal Tourtin, shares her personal tips and tricks she loves the most for the winter season:

"First and foremost I wanted to wish everyone a beautiful and healthy change of weather! I love the changes of seasons; it gives me the opportunity to alternate my skin care routine by using a variety of beneficial ingredients. Changing environment conditions are a key contributor to overall skin health.

Here are my best tips and how I upgrade my routine for winter:

• I use the excellent, very rich and emollient Flowers Cleansing Balm to cleanse. It has a thicker consistency and is very high in fatty acids from Mango Butter and Passion Fruits oils to help prevent dehydration. The key is to apply to dry skin and massage in. Moisten the fingertips and begin to again massage the balm into skin with circular motions. The balm transforms into a light, milky cleanser. Finish by wiping off with a damp cloth.                                                 

• I add a serum on top of my Precious Elixir, which I use as a nutritional supplement that is essential for my skin and contains Omega 3, 6 and 9. I then next apply my moisturizer. My current favorite serum is the new Geto Supreme Serum which pairs wonderfully with the Geto Supreme Cream as a complete routine ( in particular for people looking for intense hydration and comfort; dry skin, mature skin)

• I upgrade my moisturizer to a thicker and more rich formulation. I look for ingredients like Hyaluronic Acid, Peptides or Lipids for a deeper hydration. I prefer the Precious Night Cream especially for overnight repair, the Intense Comfort Cream for quick, nurturing moisture and my favorite the Geto Supreme Cream for complete age-defying results."
